Lose Weight Fast with these 7 Foods
Almonds help burn more fat and carbs during workouts as shown by a study found in The Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition. They contain L-arginine, an amino acid responsible for its fat burning ability. Another study on overweight and obese adults found that consuming a handful of almonds a day along with a calorie-restricted diet, led to a 62% greater reduction in weight and BMI compared to just having a calorie-restricted diet alone after 12 weeks.
Just like almonds, a similar study conducted by UCLA Center of Human Nutrition, showed greater reductions in BMI for those who consumed 240 calories worth of pistachios a day over 12 weeks. Pistachios also help with cholesterol levels, an added bonus.
Consuming only half a grapefruit before a meal, enhances your body’s fat burning ability. This is caused by phytochemicals found in grapefruit, and according to a study published in the Journal Metabolism, can reduce your belly fat by up to an inch in only six weeks!

- Avocado Oil
Research from Penn State University showed those who consumed three tablespoons of avocado oil a day, to lose nearly 2 percent of belly fat in just one month!
Yoghurt contains vitamin D and calcium, both excellent for fat loss. According to a Nutrition Journal study, subjects who took these two nutrients experienced twice as more fat loss than a group without it in only 4 weeks! Go grab some yogurt!
A study found that eating a calorie restricted diet that includes four weekly servings of legumes to aid in weight loss more efficiently than a similar diet without legumes. Legumes also improve cholesterol levels and aid with controlling blood pressure.
